Ability to Benefit

Complying with Ability-to-Benefit Final Regulations is one of the biggest challenges for financial aid and assessment practitioners at Oklahoma's technology centers.  Information at one or more of the links below may provide the answers you need to feel comfortable that your school is operating within the guidelines.

Ability-to-Benefit regulations apply to Title IV Federal Student Financial Aid eligibility (Subpart J under the Higher Education Act as revised).  They do not apply to whether a potential student can be admitted to school, only to the source(s) from which s/he may be eligible for financial assistance.
